Boaz Laor

President

Mr. Laor has held numerous high-level management positions, including Executive Vice President and President of U.S. Operations at Quark Biotech; President and CEO of the National Coal Supply Corporation of Israel; CFO of Sapiens; CFO and COO of ICE Cryogenic Engineering; and Division Manager for the National Budget Department at the Israeli Ministry of Finance. He also previously served on the Board of Israel Bank of Agriculture Ltd.
 
Mr. Laor holds a BSc in Economics from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

 

Dr. Alexander Weisman

VP, Research & Development
 
Dr. Weisman brings to Chemagis 20 years of experience in R&D in Analytical and Organic Chemistry, 10 of which focused on the pharmaceutical industry, as well as six years of management and administration. Before joining Chemagis, first as Analytical R&D Manager in 1998, Dr. Weisman held the positions of Project Manager with Agis Industries and Operations Manager with Polychem.

Dr. Weisman has more than 15 articles and patents to his credit. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Kishinev State University.

 

Ayala Kost

VP, Global Quality Assurance
 
As Quality Assurance and Control Manager, Ms. Kost is responsible for regulatory compliance and customers' technical needs. Prior to joining Chemagis in 2002, Ms. Kost was U.S. Marketing Director and Pilot Lab Manager at Makhteshim-Agan Industries, a leading manufacturer of crop protection chemicals, and Process Engineer at Nepro Negev Projects.

Ms. Kost holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Ben Gurion University.

 

Dina Hanuna

VP, Finance, Perrigo Israel
 
Ms. Hanuna joined Perrigo Israel in 1991. Prior to that, she held the position of Senior Manager with the CPA firm, Jungerman, Gilboa & Co.
 
Ms. Hanuna is Certified Public Accountant (Israel). She holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Bar Ilan University as well as a BA in Accounting from Tel Aviv University.

 

Ronen Lapidot

 VP, Operations
 
Ronen has lately joined Chemagis as VP of Global Sales Operation . In his new role, Ronen will lead the activities in all Global Chemagis plants (Production, Supply chain, Environment and Safety )
 
Before, Ronen served a 14 year career in various positions at " Rotem Amfert Negev" ,starting as site production manager and working towards VP Operation.Then, Ronen has spent two years as VP operations at Metal - Tech ltd.
 
Ronen holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from BGU University in Beer - Sheba ,and is currently enrolled in Business studies at Ramat - Gan college.
 
 

Dr. Shireesh Ambhaikar

CEO, Perrigo API India Private Limited

Dr. Ambhaikar held numerous positions of increasing responsibilities in manufacturing, projects and general management in pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining PAI, he was Head of Manufacturing, supply chain and global sourcing in UCB pharm, he was with Sandoz/Novartis having responsibilities in manufacturing, projects and as business unit head of products for US and EU markets. 

Dr. Ambhaikar holds a PhD degree in ORGANIC CHEMISTRY from Mumbai University.

 

Yoav Grinberg

VP, Global Sales & Marketing

 

Responsible for Chemagis' global sales and marketing activities, Mr. Grinberg brings extensive management experience in International marketing and sales to Chemagis' management team.

 

Before joining Chemagis in March 2010, he worked for 20 years in Chemical and Plastic Industries in various senior Sales and Marketing positions, based in Israel and in  Europe. During this time, he built solid Sales and Marketing teams and developed global strategies for many international markets.

 

Mr. Grinberg holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
 
 

Dr. Yossi Kaspi

CSO
 
Dr. Kaspi previously served as Chemagis VP Research & Development from 1993 to 2005, bringing with him 30 years of experience in the development of active pharmaceuticals ingredients. He was a post doctoral fellow at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio with Nobel Prize Laureate Professor George Olah.

Dr. Kaspi obtained a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry, an MSc with distinction in Organic Chemistry and a BSc with distinction in Chemistry and Physics, all from Hebrew University.
